Behind the Bells

Step inside the tower at Goring Church and discover the craft of bell ringing. Whether you’d like to simply explore the ringing room or have a go yourself, there’s something for everyone. Try chiming a bell, or ring ‘properly' on a tied bell - perfect for first timers: no noise, but all the real experience. Along the way, you’ll uncover the fascinating English art of change ringing and see why it’s far more than simply pulling a rope. Come up, give it a try, and feel the history come to life in your hands.

This is a free event and no ticket is required.
