A unique opportunity to head behind the scenes of OrbAstro, Goring’s very own space tech satellite manufacturer who specialise in building and flying tiny satellites. Come and explore their satellite factory as they open their doors to the community, as part of the Wonders of the Natural World Family Day.
Discover how satellites are constructed, as well as what is involved in keeping them in orbit once they are up in space. OrbAstro is supported by the European Space Agency, UK Space Agency, and Innovate UK.
Please arrive promptly for your tour. Doors will open no earlier than 10 minutes before the tour start time.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone attending must have a ticket.
OrbAstro will also give a talk on the Family Day Main Stage in Rectory Gardens.
