Discover. Create. Perform! Family Physics Singalong - science and music in harmony

Bring your voice and your curiosity to a free family workshop that combines songs and STEM in perfect harmony!

Sing your heart out to well-known tunes with a science twist, in a singalong session for the whole family led by two of the creators of new musical “The Cambridge First All-Ladies Fire Brigade” - Helen Arney and Jenni Pinnock - and a performer from the show.

Then meet our guest physicist to find out about their science and create a new song about it together. Finally, you’ll learn a fun, fiery song called “Put Out The Fire!” so you can join in with a performance of the The Cambridge First All-Ladies Fire Brigade musical at the Fire Station later that afternoon (5.15-6.15pm)!

Participants in this workshop are also invited to perform their songs in the Discover.Create.Perform Finale Showcase (4-5pm at Goring Fire Station). Bring family and friends to watch and bring a picnic.
