Come as a family to write a poem about a journey of discovery, which could involve anything from a glittery dinosaur to the A34, all supported by an experienced children' poet. No experience necessary, just bring your imagination.
With the help of a local children’s poet Brian Mackenwells, families will work together to write a poem describing their own journeys of discovery. These sessions focus on building confidence in creative writing and spoken-word performance.
Participants in this workshop are invited to share their poems in the Discover.Create.Perform! Finale Showcase (4-5pm at Goring Fire Station). Bring family and friends to watch and bring a picnic.
