Discover. Create. Perform! Magic Workshop

A fun activity for primary school children (age 5 - 11) to learn some magic to amaze their friends and family.  The workshop is fun, light-hearted and above all magical! 

The event will start with a simple, fun opening warm-up activity. Followed by the demonstration and tuition of three magic tricks that can be effectively recreated by the children in social settings. Minimal props and materials will be required and will be supplied. Please wear comfortable clothing that you're comfortable moving about in!
 
Participants in this workshop are invited to demonstrate their new magic skills in the Discover.Create.Perform Finale Showcase (4-5pm at Goring Fire Station). Bring family and friends to watch and bring a picnic.

Secondary school age children 11-14 are welcome to join our Performing Magic session in the Goring Village Hall starting at 10:30am

Important event information
Children under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. 

There will be a short break mid-session. 

Workshop participants and their accompanying adult do not need to pay to attend the Discover.Create.Perform Finale Showcase but need a free ticket. Please get these from the Finale Showcase event on the Festival website. 

Additional family and friends are welcome to attend the Showcase at a cost of £5 per person. Under 2s are free but need a ticket.
