Japanese Woodblock Printing

Painter and printmaker Karen Carter will guide you through the fascinating process of creating a small carved woodblock, a typical Japanese way of printing and then printing it bit by bit in the style of the Provincetown Printers using watercolours. This is a printing technique that is easily replicated at home with very basic tools. No previous knowledge of printing is required.

Participants will need to bring a few of their own materials but a detailed guide will be supplied after booking takes place.

10 spaces available. Over 18s only.
