If you have already pre-ordered a picnic, your picnic hamper will be waiting for you on arrival and a table and chairs will be reserved for you and your guests in the gardens.
Guests who have not pre-ordered a picnic are very welcome to bring their own food, drinks, table and chairs, whatever you want!
There are a couple of lovely places to set up your own table - either the paddock (for beautiful views out across the Goring Gap) or the grove (under the walnut trees so a bit more shady). We ask that the main lawn is kept for those using rugs for their picnic or for tables for the pre-ordered picnics.
Gates open at 5.00pm giving you plenty of time to find the perfect spot, relax in the gardens and enjoy your picnic before the performance begins at 6.30pm.
Bars will be open before the performance and during the interval, serving a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. Tea and coffee will be available during the interval.
Should the weather be less than perfect, there is ample undercover space available for picnicking, so please do not let the forecast deter you from arriving early and making the most of the evening.
