We are delighted to announce that this year’s GAP Festival will take place from 12th–21st June 2026. Celebrating creativity, curiosity and connection, the GAP Festival will once again bring together a vibrant mix of arts, music, science, spoken word, theatre and more. In 2026, everyone is invited to embark on a Journey of Discovery — with events designed to spark imagination and open doors to new experiences for all ages.
We’d love you to join us on our Journey of Discovery. If you want to be the first to hear about the programme of events and when tickets go on sale, don’t forget to sign up to our mailing list at www.thegapfestival.org.

Become a Friend of the Festival
As we prepare for this year’s Festival, we’re inviting more people than ever to become Friends of the Festival.
A donation of £50 could help sponsor a Journey of Discovery for children in our community. In 2026, we’re offering a rich variety of children’s events and we’re committed to keeping ticket prices low, and wherever possible, free. Your support can help open a world of discovery to the next generation.
As a thank-you, children will create a special handmade gift just for you during the Festival. Friends and Sponsors will also be invited to our afternoon tea reception at the final teatime Festival Concert — a warm moment of celebration and gratitude at the close of the Festival.
