“Fringe” live music line up announced

Alongside all of the spectacular music events you’ll find detailed in the GAP Festival programme, there are also “fringe” music events popping up in local venues. 

From jazz and folk, to acoustic and pop music. Individual performers to full-pieced bands. Local groups to semi-professional musicians. These FREE non-ticketed performances will give you the chance to sit back and soak up the Festival atmosphere with a drink in hand.

Sunday 9th June - LIVE MUSIC From 2.30pm

The Catherine Wheel, Goring

Sit back and take in the sounds of singer songwriter Steve Daniels, guitar and accordion duo BoxSet, edgy singer Fern, and vintage trio Harlequin amongst others. 

2.30pm DAVID AND NIKKI - a couple who make sweet music

3pm STEVE DANIELS - original singer songwriter

3.30pm BOXSET - high-energy guitar and accordion duo

4pm FERN - edgy London-based singer

4.30pm LAST MINUTE RETURNS - Streatley guitar/mandolin duo sing heritage folk

5pm GREG MAYSTONS FOLK BLUES & AMERICANA - country, folk and blues

5.30pm MURPHYS LAW - local trio with good time songs

6pm HARLEQUIN - vintage trio with origins in the Bristol folk scene

Wednesday 12th June - SOUNDBAR Open Mic Night 7.30pm-10pm

The Bull, Streatley

The Soundbar is Goring & Streatley’s thriving monthly open mic night. You’ll hear professional musicians testing out new material, brilliant young talent (rising star George Parker is a regular), as well as local performers and first-timers. Every night is different, surprising and loads of fun. Want to perform? Get there at 7pm to sign up. Music 7.30pm-10pm.

Thursday 13th June - Goring Unplugged at The GAP Festival 8pm

Come and enjoy the best of Goring Unplugged - an acoustic event that has been bringing together professional performers, local musicians and first-timers of all ages for a friendly evening of unplugged music for over 20 years.
