The GAP Festival programme is packed with incredible music — but that's just the beginning. This year's "fringe" events are popping up in some of the most beloved local venues around, bringing even more fun to the festival, and "fringe" events are completely FREE of charge.

From stomping folk and soulful blues to sun-drenched Americana and indie rock. Solo performers to full bands. Rising local talent to seasoned musicians. Pull up a chair, grab a drink, and enjoy great music and good company.

Here's the "fringe" line up (subject to change):

Saturday 13th June – LIVE MUSIC from 2.30pm

The Catherine Wheel, Goring

Settle in for an afternoon of great music, featuring blues storyteller Jim Reynolds, guitar and accordion trio Harlequin, and more — moving inside and outside as the day unfolds.

The Miller of Mansfield

An unmissable evening of live music featuring folk, blues, Americana and more — with something for every taste across a packed line-up.

4.30pm HARLEQUIN – vintage trio with origins in the Bristol folk scene

5.00pm FURLONG – Oxfordshire based family band

5.30pm STEM - a duo blending guitar and vocals

6.00pm STEVE DANIELS – original singer songwriter

6.30pm THE RURAL BROADBAND – harmonious folk trio

7.00pm RAIN DOGS - assorted folk, blues and dark-witted melancholia

8.00pm THE MYSTERIES – enduringly popular local band

9.00pm DREAM SELLERS - folk rock band playing a wide range of tunes 

Sunday 21st June – LIVE MUSIC from 10am

The Rectory Gardens

Round off the festival weekend with Harlequin playing from 10am to noon in the beautiful surroundings of the Rectory Gardens.

10.00am–12.00pm HARLEQUIN – vintage trio with origins in the Bristol folk scene

And don't forget to come back at 3pm for the Festival Finale Picnic Concert, featuring the Goring and Streatley Concert Band and children's choirs from Goring and Streatley primary schools. Find out more.

Tuesday 16th June – THREE IDLE WOMEN 7pm

Goring Village Hall
Singing with warmth and humour about life, love, and the rich heritage of the UK's waterways, Three Idle Women bring fresh life to traditional folk songs. Their beautifully blended close harmonies are accompanied by a delightfully quirky array of instruments – including a saw, propeller, and concertina. Expect heartfelt stories of canal people and places in a performance that delights land lubbers and enthusiasts alike.

Friday 19th June – GEORGE MONTAGUE 8pm

Goring Village Hall
Experience the immense energy of dynamic singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist George Montague. Known for his versatile vocals and contagious original songs, George masterfully plays piano and guitar to rouse audiences into an uplifting musical journey. Championed by BBC 6 Music, his sound ranges from intricate textures to epic stadium anthems. Supporting George are local favourites David Caswell and The Moonseeds.
