GAP Festival Opera - Cosi Fan Tutte
We are delighted to present two performances of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte on Saturday 4  June and Sunday 5 June in the glorious setting of Streatley Farmhouse.  The performances, sung in English, are produced by Goring-based soprano Stephanie Bodsworth and will be performed by singers who have graced opera stages including Glyndebourne and The English National Opera. They will be accompanied by a five piece ensemble with a set designed by international opera designer (and Goring resident) Ilka Weiss.
The opera will take place inside a magnificent eighteenth century barn which will be transformed into a theatre with tiered seating and allocated seats.
Due to the nature of the venue some seats have a slightly restricted view of the stage and these have been priced accordingly, but rest assured these seats will still give audience members a wonderful experience.

Picnic in the Gardens
To enhance the evening further, guests are invited to enjoy a picnic in the beautiful gardens.  Order a picnic hamper specially created for the event by Pierreponts Cafe, add a bottle of carefully selected wine and dine in style.
Those booking picnics early will enjoy a free table and chairs which will be set up ready and waiting for you in a prime spot – all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy a pre-opera aperitif.

A well-stocked bar will be on hand
serving glasses of chilled fizz, wine, beer and soft drinks along with tea and coffee.

If you prefer, guests are welcome to bring their own picnics and find a shady spot; rugs only on the lawn but there will be plenty of other areas to unpack a table and chairs.

If the weather is unkind, or for those who prefer more sheltered dining there will be undercover space in another barn at the heart of the farm yard.

Information
TIME: Doors open from 5.00pm for guests to arrive, select their preferred dining spot and soak up the atmosphere.  The performance starts at 6.30pm with a one hour interval during the opera to afford plenty of time to dine at leisure.
