The GAP Festival is delighted that local Goring resident Ginny Avery, Artistic Director for the 2022 Festival, has agreed to take this role on again for 2024. Ginny is an actor, voice coach, drama teacher and examiner and her experience and passion for the arts and culture brought us our biggest programme yet back in 2022.
We are also pleased to welcome a new addition to the team, Max Heron, who joined as Festival Manager. Max has enjoyed a military career, a period in the corporate world, and 12 years running his own business. More recently he built his own house, so project management and organising come naturally to him - perfect for keeping the Festival running on track.
Alongside Ginny and Max are a group of dedicated Trustees, who meet regularly to agree the direction of the Festival and oversee the governance and finances of the charity. As well as all of our incredible Event Managers who take the lead on organising each event for the programme - without whom the Festival just wouldn’t be possible.
All of these amazing people are volunteers. They give their own time to bring together The GAP Festival for you to enjoy. We are always looking for people to join the team, no matter how much or little time you can spare.
